At times, you might come across duplicate people profiles in your database. In this video, we'll demonstrate how effortless it is to resolve this issue with our comprehensive merge tool. The merge tool enables you to select the duplicate profiles, providing a preview of the content associated with each merge candidate. It also highlights the decisions it's going to make and the expected end result. All you need to do is click 'Start Merge,' and the system will seamlessly reassign references and consolidate all relevant information into a single profile.
To merge profiles:
Navigate to the people list in your dashboard here:
http://app.qik.dev/content/profile
Select the profiles you want to merge by clicking the checkboxes on the left hand side
Click 'Actions' to show the action sidebar
Select "Merge (x) profiles"
View and confirm that the actions proposed in the preview and the end result is correct and press 'Start Merge'
Edit and fine tune any details on the merged profile
